Therapeutic and Wellness
We offer individual therapeutic sessions and group classes. Exercising in water presents many benefits: less weight bearing assist in movement, hydrostatic pressure of the water which increase circulation and the resistance of the water which acts to increase muscle load . Warm water temperatures also help loosen tight muscles and increase mobility.
Therapeutic Exercise
With less weight bearing and the increased resistance in water, therapeutic exercise in the water environment can benefit many different conditions.
People with arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson, cerebral palsy and many more conditions where movement is restricted, can exercise with ease in water.
Therapeutic Aquatics
Therapeutic aquatics can help anyone. While floating in the water, the body is weightless, allowing the muscles to relax. Incorporating various techniques of movement in water, the client is gently stretched, releasing pressure and relieving stress and discomfort.
Group exercise classes
Group exercise classes are the perfect way to get in shape and have fun in the water even if you don't know how to swim.
Classes are performed in chest deep water and using aquatic floating belts. These classes improve cardio capacity, muscle strength balance and coordination.
